I’ll be posting project life updates once a month. These three layouts are from earlier in the year.

Weeks Three & Four

January 13- January 26

During week four, we went to visit Sylvia and the kids. The hiking card is from the great outdoors theme pack.

Project Life | Week Two

January 6-12

This week I continued the orange and teal color scheme from week 1. Most of my pictures were taken on the weekend. I need to work on taking more pictures throughout the week. 

Project Life | Week One

January 1- 5

I kept this week really simple! My goal for 2014 is to only spend 1 hour each week on project life. This week I ordered pictures Sunday afternoon, picked them up Monday morning, and finished the layout Monday afternoon. This worked out really well and I’m going to try to keep it up, so I don’t get behind this year.

Project Life 2014

I am excited and re-energized to be documenting 2014 with Project Life. I still have not completed our 2013 album, but I’m OK with that and just want to stay as current as possible in 2014.

This year I will be using the Jade edition core kit. 

Project Life: Weeks 17- 18

April 22- May 05 This was a pretty normal couple weeks for us. I went with a pink color scheme for this layout and I love how it turned out. I really tried to keep things simple. I like a nice balance between creative embellishments and still letting the photos be the focus. This is getting easier to  each week. I think its because I’ve had 6 months to practice.

Project Life: Insert for Weeks 15-16

Cherry Blossom Festival- This insert is all about the day we went downtown to see the Cherry Blossoms. It was also our Anniversary. We had a great day walking around the Tidal Basin. I brought my camera and we took lots of photos!

April 8-  21 We celebrated our first wedding anniversary. Project Life: Florida Vacation Insert

April 6- April 10 I Love this insert so much. It might be because looking at these picture makes me happy, but I also love how this came together. The bright coral/ orange paper mixed with the blue is perfect for vacation photos. I kept the embellishments simple to let the photos stand out.

A few highlights from the trip: Spent lots of time at the beach and the pool// Dinner out a few nights// Beautiful Sunsets// Visiting Sarasota// Pat and Uncle Doug rented bikes//So thankful for this time spent with my family! 

Project Life: Weeks 13-14

March 25- April 7 (Sorry for the glare!) This was a pretty regular couple of weeks for us except for a few things. We had a small Easter celebration and the second weekend we flew to Florida to visit my grandparents. Project Life: Weeks 11-12

March 11-24 This spread is all about Pat’s Birthday and includes an insert of our trip to D.C.
